| Adresse | Inhalt | Punkte | Lizenz |

Übersicht als Datei: /api/v1/index.json
Format
GeoJSON (FeatureCollection, Koordinaten WGS84).

Was noch kommt
Open data for assistants
Some Bärn Kit apps are also available as data: one file per app, always at the same address. Voice assistants and other apps can use them to give short answers such as “The nearest drinking fountain is 120 metres away”. The files are free, with no account and no key.

Overview as a file: /api/v1/index.json
Format
GeoJSON (FeatureCollection, WGS84 coordinates). Each point has a stable id, a name (or null) and, under say, a short sentence to read out in German, French and English. The device fills in {distance} itself (e.g. “120 metres”); {name} is the point’s name. Plus source, licence and updated (date of the data).
Aare
The Aare temperature is a live value and is not in the file. aare-bern.json describes the official source (FOEN, station 2135, via LINDAS) and how the answer sounds. Always say when it was measured.
Licence and sources
Data from OpenStreetMap is under the ODbL: please credit “© OpenStreetMap contributors”. The artworks come from the City of Bern open data (opendata.swiss, terms_open). Photos and texts of the city are not included. For text works the title is the work itself; it belongs to the artist (field “rights”), not to the open data.
Privacy
The files are static. Bärn Kit stores no locations, needs no camera and does not count requests per person. The device works out the nearest point.
What comes next
An MCP server (an interface that lets AI assistants ask questions directly) is planned but not online yet. Questions and wishes: hallo@uebrig.ch.
