Background

“ohne Titel (Feldgrillen-Modell)” is an acrylic compost work from 1984 by Patrice Weber, Christoph Schulter and Walter Kretz. It stands in the Vivarium of the Tierpark Dählhölzli, at the exit towards the fish area. Walter Kretz has lived and worked in Bern since 1958, after training as a stone sculptor near Biel. Many animal species live freely in the Vivarium, including birds, reptiles, frogs and insects. The Vivarium was rebuilt and reopened in 1988.
