Background

The two-part work “Camonet” by Sibylla Walpen (2009) consists of a screen print on a glass parapet along the riverside path and a relief on the concrete walls around the BärenPark, at the Bärengraben in Bern’s animal park. The BärenPark is a bear enclosure in Bern that opened in 2009. As part of its conversion, the slope down to the Aare was turned into a large natural enclosure. Further details on the artist and on how the work was made are not yet documented.
