Background
“Sonnenuhr” (Sundial), dated 1922, is on the south façade of the Laubegg school at Laubeggstrasse 37 in Bern. Linck (1874–1935) was a painter who ran his own painting school in Bern until 1912. He made church murals and stained-glass windows and worked as a restorer, including on the painted decoration of several historic Bern fountains. No material is recorded for the sundial.
