The bronze relief “Gerberngraben-Brunnen oder Casinoplatz und Umgebung vor dem Umbau” (1937) is set in a niche at the Kirchenfeld bridgehead on the west side of Casinoplatz in Bern. The sculptor Etienne Perincioli (1881–1944) came from Piedmont and settled in Bern in 1908. He had come to the city for sculptural work on the Casino and the Grand Hotel Bellevue. His son Marcel was born in Bern in 1911 and also became a sculptor.
