Background
The stone fountain figures, wall and entrance sculptures by Etienne Perincioli stand on Viktoriaplatz in front of the BKW building and date from around 1916. At the fountain two rams ride on waves on either side of the basin, each carrying a putto on its back. The ram stands for strength and fertility, chosen in an age of hydropower and electricity. Frogs or toads are shown at the rim of the basin. Further information on the entrance sculptures is not documented yet.
