Background

The untitled wall paintings by Max Brack and Traugott Senn, dated around 1922, are in the hall of the Munzinger primary school, above the classroom doors on every floor. The painter Traugott Senn (1877–1955) became known above all for his landscapes. Between 1901 and 1903 he studied at the Kunstgewerbeschule in Bern, then spent a year in Paris with Luc-Olivier Merson.
