Background
“Wie die Natur überall gleichzeitig sein kann.” is part of the series Nischen by Tine Melzer, an enamelled metal work at the corner of Beundenfeldstrasse and Kasernenwiese in Bern, made in 2023. The project comprises 90 enamel text panels in the public space of Bern. The texts are arranged along seven walks that point to special projects of the city's Biodiversity Year. For the artist, diversity stands for what is other and unknown, and it makes one's own uniqueness visible.
