Background
“Es wird wahrscheinlich knapp.” from the series “Nischen” is a work by Tine Melzer from 2023. It is made of enamelled metal and is mounted at Viktoriaplatz in Bern. The panels follow seven walks that are connected with the Biodiversity Year. The production received help from Luk Wartenweiler at the Werkstatt Tscharnergut and from David Zürcher. Their short statements, often open to more than one reading, catch people off guard during ordinary days.
