"Schwesternschule Engeried" is an exposed-concrete work by Walter Kretz from 1972, located at Reichenbachstrasse 118 in Bern. Kretz was born in Steckborn in 1942 and works as a sculptor and painter. He gave up the route to the Matura and trained as a stone sculptor in Nidau. He has lived and worked in Bern since 1958. In 1971 he made an art-in-architecture piece at the Schanzenpost in Bern.
